About the Building
The Citizens Savings building survived the 1906 earthquake. It suffered some fire damage, but it was restored by its original architect.
The later addition, done in 1964 by Clark and Beuttler, is respectful of the original building.
The first floor features rusticated stone and arched entryways. The shaft is divided into three bays. The building is topped by a mansard roof with dormers.
