Sylvain Schnaittacher
Little known today, Sylvain Schnaittacher was the designer of prominent buildings on Union Square, along Auto Row, and in the Financial District. He collaborated with Bakewell and Brown on Temple Emanu-El. He was Secretary of the San Francisco Chapter of the American Institute of Architects and served on the State Board of Architecture.
